The EU Artificial Intelligence Act and the Public Sector – Humans and AI Systems in Public Administration in the light of the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence of 2024

On 10 December 2025, at 4 pm (Central European Time), the book “The EU Artificial Intelligence Act and the Public Sector – Humans and AI Systems in Public Administration in the light of the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence of 2024” edited by Juli Ponce and Agustí Cerrillo-i-Martínez, published by the European Public Law Organisation (EPLO), was presented in hybrid format.


Juli Ponce and Agustí Cerrillo will introduce the event, which will be followed by a transatlantic academic dialogue on artificial intelligence and regulation. In particular, the international discussion will be led by:


  • Cary Coglianese (Edward B. Schils Professor of Law, Professor of Political Science and Director of Penn Program on Regulation, University of Pennsylvania and author of the Foreword).

  • Nicoletta Rangone (Full Professor of Administrative Law, Director of the Jean Monnet Centre on Sustainable Artificial Intelligence for Regulation at LUMSA in Roma, Author and Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies).
