The 1st Open Forum concludes in London — all recordings now available

With the London event held on 18 September 2026 at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London, the 1st Open Forum of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence SUSTAIN AI REG has come to a close.

The Forum unfolded across three hybrid events, bringing together academics, regulators, public officials and practitioners from Europe and beyond:

• Rome, 5 June 2026 — Innovation for Regulation (LUMSA University), with a keynote by Claudio Radaelli and panels on the environmental impact of AI, digital empathy and cognitive bias, and European digital sovereignty in times of poly-crisis.

• Barcelona, 26 June 2026 — Sustainable AI (Universitat de Barcelona, in collaboration with the ADMAIES project), devoted to the regulation of trustworthy AI in the public sector, digital infrastructure, AI for inspection activities and good administration.

• London, 18 September 2026 — Sustainable AI (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies), on the sustainable use of AI in the design and drafting of legislation, with insights from legislative and parliamentary practice.
