The Good Lobby | The Real Price of Simplification

Since 2024, the EU Commission has adopted several omnibus packages leading to over 22 instances of rollbacks of environmental and health protections.  Many more  are in the pipeline.

These changes lower corporate sustainability standards, food and feed protection, deforestation rules, protected species, digital rights and more. The process has been deliberately fast, and largely took place in the shadow without meaningful public input.

On Tuesday 7 July at 16:30 CET, The Good Lobby is hosting a free one-hour webinar to take stock of the ongoing simplification agenda. 

We'll present the findings of a major new report by Réseau Action Climat - co-authored by Générations Futures, Transport & Environnement, CCFD-Terre Solidaire, Greenpeace France, Fondation pour la Nature et l'Homme, Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux, France Nature Environnement, and Reclaim Finance - and discuss it with the researchers who prepared it.
